Commercial Construction Project Manager

About the Role
Crowned Eagle Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager with demonstrated experience managing renovation and capital improvement projects in both Government (public-sector) and Multi-Family environments.
This role requires strong financial discipline, schedule control, subcontractor management, and contract compliance expertise. The ideal candidate must be comfortable navigating the compliance requirements of government projects while maintaining the production pace required in multi-family capital improvement programs.
The Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commercial construction projects from planning through completion.
- Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, and bids.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and communication throughout each project.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts; manage change orders and pay applications.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards, project specifications, and safety codes.
- Conduct OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and provide progress updates.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent, and subcontractors to develop, monitor, and update project schedules.
- Manage project documentation, permits, and inspections.
- Promote and enforce job site safety to meet or exceed OSHA standards.
- Oversee full project closeout including punch walks, final payments, and delivery of closeout documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Strong estimating skills for commercial projects.
- Experience managing private, state, and federal construction projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and construction management platforms (Procore or BuilderTrend preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or related field — or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
