We're hiring a Comfort Advisor to run replacement and install sit-downs. You're not cold calling. You're not B2B prospecting. You're sitting in homes with people who already called us, already had a tech on-site, and are ready to talk about a new system.
How the Pay Works
We don't ask you to take a leap of faith. Here's the structure:
- First 90 days: You earn commission on every closed contract, uncapped. We guarantee a weekly draw so you have predictable income while you ramp. The draw is recoverable, meaning it gets offset by commissions earned. Most reps cover the draw inside week two.
- After 90 days: If you're hitting the close rate and ticket targets we'll train you to, base salary gets added on top of your commission. That's your raise for proving you can close.
- Pay schedule: Weekly. Commissions process on Fridays.
If you can close, you make money week one. If you can't, this isn't the role for you.
What You'll Do
- Run 2 to 4 in-home appointments per day with homeowners ready to replace a system
- Walk the home, measure load, identify the right system fit
- Present options on a tablet, including financing, rebates, and comfort upgrades
- Close on the first sit. Follow up the ones who don't.
- Hit a target close rate and average ticket (we train to it)
- Coordinate with the install team for a clean customer handoff
- Keep your pipeline clean in our CRM (we run on GoHighLevel and HouseCall Pro)
What You Need
- 2+ years closing experience in in-home sales (HVAC, solar, roofing, windows, water treatment, or similar)
- Track record you can talk about: close rate, average ticket, monthly revenue
- Available to run appointments Saturdays and Sundays. These are our highest-volume days and where most of your income will come from.
- Confident enough to bet on yourself for 90 days knowing the weekly draw protects your floor
- Clean driving record, valid Rhode Island driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle for travel to in-home appointments
- Tech literate (tablet, CRM, digital proposals)
- HVAC product knowledge is a plus, not a requirement. We train the technical side. We can't train the close.
