Welder/Fabricator
Our client in Middleboro, MA is looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join their growing team!
Responsibilities of the Welder/Fabricator
- Reads, interprets, follows plans and blueprints
- Safely and effectively operates power saws, routers, and needed hand tools of various sizes to customize materials and products.
- Loads and adjusts workpieces onto equipment or worktables.
- Measures and marks equipment, objects, or parts to ensure specifications and standards are met.
- Manufactures panels or other materials through grinding, sanding, polishing, etc. to prepare and finish surfaces using needed tools and equipment.
- Verifies quality of finished workpieces by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimensions.
- Transfers finished objects to specified work areas, using moving devices.
- Build custom products using tools and equipment as needed.
Qualifications of the Welder/Fabricator
- 2 years professional (required)
- Metal Pipe Fabrication: 1 year (Preferred)
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and fabrication techniques
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding
- Familiarity with construction sites and working with sheet metal
- Certification in welding or relevant field is a plus
Monday through Friday. Pay depends on experience, $20-$30hr
