We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Electrician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing residential electrical upgrades and installations, leading a two-person crew, and overseeing the work and development of an electrical apprentice.
The ideal candidate has strong residential electrical experience, takes pride in high-quality workmanship, and can work independently while maintaining a safe and efficient job site. Experience with service upgrades, panel replacements, HVAC electrical work, and older home wiring systems is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential electrical service upgrades and panel replacements
- Install and upgrade electrical panels and sub panels
- Complete knob and tube wiring removal and replacement projects
- Perform electrical installations for HVAC systems and related equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical systems
- Lead and manage a two-person electrical crew
- Mentor, train, and oversee an electrical apprentice
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with NEC and local electrical codes
- Coordinate with project management and other trades to maintain efficient workflow
- Conduct daily job site safety oversight and enforce company safety standards
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Maintain accurate material usage and job documentation
- Ensure projects are completed on time and to company quality standards
Qualifications
- Valid Electrical License required
- Residential electrical experience required
- Experience with service upgrades, panel changes, and HVAC electrical installations
- Experience removing and replacing knob and tube wiring preferred
- Strong understanding of NEC and local electrical codes
- Leadership experience or ability to supervise apprentices and helpers
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage projects efficiently
- Comfortable working in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and occupied homes
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying conditions

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
