We build high-quality modular structures that require strong fabrication, welding, and assembly skills. We are looking for a dependable Welder/Fabricator to help build the steel and aluminum frames that form the foundation of our units.
Position Overview
We are hiring a skilled Welder/Fabricator to fabricate, weld, and assemble modular structural frames. The ideal candidate has experience reading drawings, measuring accurately, fitting components, welding structural materials, and working safely in a shop environment.
This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in clean welds, accurate fit-up, and building products that are made to last.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld modular steel and/or aluminum frames
- Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and build plans
- Cut, fit, square, tack, and weld frame components
- Use common fabrication tools including saws, grinders, clamps, torches, drills, and measuring equipment
- Ensure frames are built accurately, square, level, and to specification
- Inspect welds and completed assemblies for quality
- Work with the production team to meet build schedules
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Assist with general shop tasks as needed
Requirements
- Current welding certification required
- Welding and fabrication experience required
- Proficient at MIG, SMAW, FCAW , and welding with precision to assemble modular medical frames according to specifications.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to read basic fabrication drawings or blueprints
- Experience working with structural steel, tubing, channel, angle, or aluminum preferred
- Ability to lift, move, and position materials safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and good work ethic
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building frames, trailers, skids, modular buildings, or structural assemblies
- Aluminum welding experience
- Forklift or overhead crane experience
- Ability to troubleshoot fit-up and fabrication issues
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Full-time position
- Overtime may be available depending on workload
