Are you a skilled pipe fitter who takes pride in tight fit-ups, accurate layout, and high-quality fabrication? We are seeking experienced Pipe Fitters / Fabricators to support the construction of large-scale modular industrial systems used in energy and process applications.
Responsibilities
- Layout, measure, cut, and fit pipe for complex industrial systems
- Work from blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings
- Fit carbon steel and stainless-steel piping in shop fabrication environments
- Prepare pipe joints for high-quality welds, including 6G position fit-ups
- Support assembly of modular systems, skids, and pressure-rated components
- Ensure proper alignment, gap, bevel, and root opening for weld readiness
- Work closely with welders to ensure X-ray quality standards are met
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of industrial pipe fitting or fabrication experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with tight tolerance fit-up work
- Familiarity with heavy-wall pipe and industrial fabrication standards
- Ability to work in environments where weld quality is critical (including 6G-style requirements such as 2” Monster Coupon testing)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
