HVAC / Refrigeration Service Technician (HVAC-R) – New Braunfels, TX
W*e are a locally owned, veteran-friendly company based in New Braunfels, TX. We are growing and looking to add a HVAC / Refrigeration Service Technician* to our team.
We service residential, commercial HVAC, and commercial refrigeration systems, and we’re looking for high-caliber technicians who take pride in their work and want long-term growth—not just a job.

What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and commercial refrigeration systems
- Work on equipment including:
- Split systems, package units, RTUs
- Walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, prep tables
- Condensing units, evaporators, controls, and refrigerant circuits
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) to reduce breakdowns
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues (motors, capacitors, contactors, relays, etc.)
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals
- Communicate clearly with customers, dispatch, and management
- Complete detailed service documentation (iPad/mobile-based)
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
Qualifications:
- experience (2+ years HVAC and/or refrigeration)
- EPA Certification (required)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Basic computer skills (iPad/service software)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Must have:
- Universal EPA Certification
- Experience with restaurant equipment or commercial maintenance
- Familiarity with PM programs and service apps
- Welding experience
