Job Title: Concrete Finisher / Seawall Construction Worker
Job Summary
The Concrete Finisher / Seawall Construction Worker is responsible for performing skilled concrete and construction work in support of seawall installation and structural repair projects. This role requires experience in forming, pouring, and finishing concrete, as well as the ability to work efficiently in outdoor construction environments with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and curing
- Assist in seawall construction, installation, and structural repair
- Read and interpret construction measurements, grades, and layouts
- Prepare job sites, including grading, forming, and material placement
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and structural integrity of work
- Operate construction tools and equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all company safety policies regulations
- Work collaboratively with crew members to meet project timelines
Required Qualifications
- Strong construction background
- Proven concrete experience including forming, pouring, and finishing
- Ability to understand grades, elevations, and measurements
- Experience with structural or outdoor construction projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Certifications / License
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Ability to work in outdoor environments for extended periods
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor in varying weather conditions
Work Environment
- Outdoor construction sites
- Exposure to heat, humidity, and changing weather conditions
- Work on uneven terrain, including dirt, sand, and waterfront areas
- Physically demanding and fast-paced environment
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
