Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the fabrication and repair processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $20

Shift:
1st shift - 8 am to 4 pm (Monday thru Friday)
3rd shift - 10 pm to 6 am (Sunday thru Thursday)
**overtime is scheduled prior to start time and can be heavy including weekends

What's the Job?

Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate techniques and welding devices.
Position parts according to work orders, routings, prints, and knowledge of the unit.
Regulate machines for proper weld current, wire feed, and gas flow.
Ensure the fit, function, and aesthetics meet or exceed quality expectations.
Record all labor, downtime, scrap, rework, and document all information pertaining to each work order and routing sheet.

What's Needed?

High School diploma or equivalent.
At least one (1) year of MIG and TIG welding experience.
Knowledge of blueprints and welding symbols preferred.
Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and solve practical problems in fabrication.
