Position Overview
This position primarily involves TIG welding and fabrication of stainless steel and aluminum components built to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Candidates must be capable of producing high-quality cosmetic welds, particularly on thin-wall stainless steel tubing.
Welding Test Requirement
Applicants must be able to pass an on-site welding test consisting of:
- TIG welding a thin-wall stainless steel tube cope joint
- TIG welding aluminum sheet metal

If you are not confident in your ability to consistently produce high-quality cosmetic welds on thin-wall stainless steel tubing, please do not apply.
Required Skills & Experience
- Passion for welding and metal fabrication
- Proficient in TIG welding of aluminum and stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Experience fabricating and fitting parts to print
- Ability to work effectively and communicate with team members to produce quality products
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Comfortable operating general fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, and related shop machinery
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Skills
- General metal fabrication and fit-up experience
- Ability and willingness to help train and mentor others
- Experience working in a fast-paced custom fabrication or job shop environment

Monday – Thursday | (4) Ten-Hour Shifts (3) Days Off
6:00am – 4:30pm
Overtime occasionally required to meet project schedules
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
