Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sign Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of signage solutions across multiple locations, ensuring each sign is securely mounted, accurately aligned, and visually appealing. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure precise placement of signs.
- Use hand tools and power tools to mount signs on various surfaces including walls, ceilings, and outdoor structures.
- Operate heavy equipment when necessary for large or complex installations.
- Measure distances accurately and mark mounting points to guarantee proper alignment.
- Install fixtures such as lighting, electrical wiring, or plumbing components related to signage as needed.
- Perform site inspections to verify safety compliance and assess installation conditions.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate project timelines and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work, sign installation, or related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or roofing.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of construction management practices and construction estimating is a plus.
- Experience with fabrication techniques including glass installation, fixture mounting, or concrete finishing is desirable.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Candidates with experience in plumbing, electrical work, restoration projects, or tile laying will find this role especially rewarding. Pay: $25.55 - $30.77 per hour
