2nd Shift
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fabrication Supervisor to lead our Fabrication department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervision and sheet metal fabrication.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the fabrication team, including machine operators, helpers and support personnel; provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team performs efficiently and on schedule
- Oversee daily operations of the department, ensuring schedules are met and products meet engineering and quality specifications
- Work closely with Production Planning and the Assembly Supervisors to assure both their needs are met on a consistent basis. In cases where this is not the case, identify root causes and develop solutions to improve the process so that they are
- Ensure all components meet standards; conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high levels of product quality
- Promote a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with company policy, regulations and protocols.
- Ensure that all fabrication equipment is properly maintained and serviced; coordinate with maintenance personnel to address any machinery issues that may affect production
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Analyze production data to make informed decisions for department
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and supplies to avoid production interruptions
- Maintain accurate records of production activities such as work orders, quality reports, and safety logs.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus
· Experience in sheet metal fabrication in a manufacturing environment
· Experience in supervisory roles in a manufacturing environment
· Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and equipment (e.g., brake press, punches, welders, folders, lasers, cnc machines)
· ERP systems experience and proficiency a plus
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Ability to use measurement tools and software

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
