Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks to facilitate hot oil circulation and pipeline maintenance.
- Manage the setup and breakdown of rigging and other mechanical systems necessary for hot oil transfer processes.
- Conduct routine inspections of pipelines, tanks, and related equipment to ensure safety and operational integrity.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines meticulously, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to construction site protocols.
- Assist with horizontal drilling operations by supporting mechanical tasks and ensuring proper equipment functioning.
- Coordinate with team members to execute safe loading, unloading, and transportation of hot oil using commercial driving skills.
- Maintain detailed logs of operations, safety checks, maintenance activities, and incident reports to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on oil rigs or construction sites involving heavy equipment operation.
- Mechanical knowledge related to pipeline systems, tanks, pumps, and associated machinery.
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques used in oil & gas extraction projects.
- Valid certifications in OSHA safety standards applicable to construction and industrial environments.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tanker trucks, and other heavy machinery safely.
- Strong understanding of pipeline maintenance procedures and hot oil circulation processes.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving or tanker endorsements preferred.
