We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and work with various power tools. This role involves a variety of tasks, including framing and finish carpentry. Mainly residential work with the occasional commercial project. If you are detail-oriented and passionate about building and construction, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements
- Utilize power tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks.
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Carpentry skills from frame to finish
- Proficiency with Power Tools and Hand Tools
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow blueprints and plans accurately
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Trade school certification or apprenticeship in carpentry is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Compensation
- 40 hours per week, overtime available - job dependent
