Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Prepare surfaces for concrete placement by cleaning, leveling, and compacting
- Set up forms and molds according to project specifications
- Pour, spread, and smooth concrete using various tools and techniques
- Finish concrete surfaces to achieve desired texture and appearance
- Apply curing compounds or sealants to protect finished surfaces
- Repair and restore damaged concrete structures or surfaces
- Install flooring materials such as tiles, carpet, or wood on concrete surfaces
- Perform metal stud framing and frame carpentry as needed
- Assist with masonry, plastering, welding, and caulking tasks as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
- Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to concrete work
- Solid understanding of safety procedures and guidelines in construction settings
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials when necessary
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
