We at CMC Classic Cars are looking to expand our team and add another Classic Car Metal Fabricator/Assembler to become a vital part of restoring timeless automotive masterpieces! This unique role offers the opportunity to work on authentic vintage vehicles, transforming sheet metal into beautifully crafted components that bring classic cars back to life. Duties
- Fabricate and assemble custom metal parts using sheet metal, MIG welding, TIG welding, soldering, and power tools to meet precise specifications.
- Perform auto body repairs, replace sheet metal panels
- Conduct detailing and finishing work on fabricated parts to ensure seamless integration with vehicle bodies.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes, ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining high craftsmanship standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols during welding, sanding, grinding, and other fabrication activities.
Experience Requirements Prefered:
- Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience working with classic or vintage vehicles is highly preferred.
- Strong MIG welding skills combined with knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and auto restoration processes.
- English wheel metal forming and or use of a box and pan sheet metal brake to make panels
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
