What You'll Do
As a Welder, you’ll play a vital role in fabricating top-quality structural steel components. Your daily tasks will include:
- Keeping safety at the forefront of everything you do
- Using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes on structural steel
- Reading and interpreting welding symbols, drawings, and blueprints
- Ensuring all work meets internal and industry quality standards (including AISC)
- Operating shop equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and cutting tools
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Shift Schedule:
Current hours are Monday–Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Please note that shift times may adjust based on production needs.
What We're Looking For
If you’re a skilled welder looking for a great opportunity, we’d love to hear from you! Candidates must have prior hands-on welding experience through employment or completion of a welding training program and be able to pass a weld test. Please submit your resume online demonstrating the following:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- MIG welding experience through work experience or formal welding program (required)
- Welding certifications (AWS, CWB, or equivalent) are a big plus
- Experience welding with 1/16" solid wire and Argon/CO₂ shielding
- Commitment to quality and a strong work ethic
- Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented
In addition, this position requires heavy work to include lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, grasping objects, and ability to see distance, up close, and in color. There will be exposure to heat, noise, and dust.
