Job Summary
Hydro Mechanical of Ohio is a growing company ready to hire qualified Commercial Journeyman Plumbers, Pipe Fitters and Foremen. We are a local, family-owned company with over 40 years’ experience in the industry. With a proven track record for working with the right customers and on the right projects! .
Job Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven track record/references with at least 3 -5 years’ plumbing experience in construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to read, understand and apply plumbing codes
- Ability to read, understand specifications and blueprints
- Ability to communicate and report effectively as required by customer or management.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of the team. Instruct apprentices as needed.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and uneven terrain
- Valid Driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including Evenings or weekends as needed.
- Submit to drug testing
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems and components; as required by building code and installation requirements.
- Review building Plans and specifications
- Identify required tools and special equipment
- Identity required type and size of pipe required
- Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures
- Install supports, hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment
- Assemble and install valves and fittings.
- Install water equipment, piping and controls
- Install Underground storm sanitary and water piping systems
- Install Fixtures (Sinks, tubs, Toilets.)
- Install Water Heaters
- Testing pipe system and fixtures for stability.

- $1,500 Sign-on bonus: $750 paid after 90 days of service, and the remaining after 12 months of service.
