Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial/Commercial Carpenter to join our team in Moyie Springs, ID. In this role, you will play a key part in the ground-up construction of commercial and industrial buildings, performing a wide range of carpentry tasks from framing, finish, and concrete work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry work on commercial and industrial projects
- Frame walls, floors, roofs, and other structural elements according to blueprints and specifications
- Install doors, windows, trim, siding, and other finish carpentry components
- Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Work with concrete forms, metal framing, and various building materials
- Collaborate with other trades (concrete, electrical, mechanical, etc.) on site
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures (OSHA standards)
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of professional carpentry experience, preferably in commercial or industrial construction
- Strong knowledge of framing, layout, and finish carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting up to 75+ lbs and standing for long periods
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team player mindset
- Willingness to work 40–50 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ground-up commercial/industrial projects
- Carpentry certifications or trade school training
- Forklift or equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
