Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing layouts accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work with carpentry, HVAC systems, and remodeling activities.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and layout planning.
- Follow all safety guidelines and building codes to ensure compliance during construction activities.
Qualifications
- Valid license as a professional plumber with relevant state or local certifications.
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, including pipe threading, welding, and schematic reading.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC integration, and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and basic carpentry skills.
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise installation work.
- Knowledge of construction site procedures including remodeling projects and handyman tasks.
