Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution, ensuring all phases align with client specifications, safety standards, and company objectives. Duties
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and resource allocation using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or HeavyBid.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met throughout all phases.
- Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling and tracking using tools like Primavera and Construction scheduling software; adjust plans proactively to address delays or issues.
- Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and construction documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed; conduct regular site inspections leveraging Civil 3D and other site management tools.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, contract negotiations, and change order administration.
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including schedules, budgets, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports.
- Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders to promote transparency and resolve issues swiftly.
- Ensure projects adhere to quality standards by reviewing work progress against schematics and specifications regularly.
- Lead project meetings to track milestones, address challenges, and celebrate successes with team members.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction management with strong knowledge of project scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar tools.
- Expertise in construction estimating and contract administration for diverse projects.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other industry-standard platforms.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with construction site practices is essential.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and regulations.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors seamlessly.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles related to site development; experience with project management methodologies is highly desirable.
