We are Able Concrete, a local, family owned and operated company. We are seeking skilled and experienced concrete form setters and finishers to join our team. You will play a crucial role in the construction process by ensuring the proper finishing and surfacing of concrete structures. Your expertise will be essential in achieving a high-quality and aesthetically pleasing final product. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of concrete materials, finishing techniques, and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation: Prepare the concrete surface by setting forms, cleaning, and ensuring proper reinforcement placement to achieve the desired finish.

Concrete Placement: Pour and place concrete using various tools and equipment, such as shovels, rakes, power trowels, and screeds, while ensuring proper alignment and levelness.

Finishing Techniques: Utilize hand and power tools to finish concrete surfaces to the required smoothness and texture. Techniques may include troweling, brooming, stamping, and specialty finishes as required.

Jointing and Edging: Create expansion and control joints as necessary, and edge concrete surfaces to ensure clean and neat edges.

Quality Control: Inspect finished concrete work to ensure it meets the project's quality standards and specifications.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and fellow team members.

Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining and cleaning all tools and equipment used during the finishing process.

Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the construction team, including concrete pourers, form setters, and supervisors, to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.
