Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Residential Service Plumber to join our team and deliver exceptional plumbing solutions to homeowners. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems in residential settings, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage.
- Install new plumbing systems in remodels, additions, or new construction projects following blueprints and schematics.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding gear, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks such as pipe installation, remodeling work, or assembly of plumbing components.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain work performed and provide maintenance recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or related trades with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding gear, and other construction tools.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and basic mechanical principles is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with basic math proficiency for measurements and calculations.
- Handyman experience or background in remodeling projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and experience working on construction sites or remodeling projects. Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
