What You’ll Do
As a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and recommending solutions for residential HVAC systems. You will represent Brooks Heating & Air in customers’ homes and play a critical role in delivering a professional, trustworthy, and high-quality service experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems
- Perform maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot heating and cooling system issues
- Clearly explain findings and repair options to homeowners
- Build trust with customers through professionalism and strong communication
- Complete accurate service records and documentation
- Use diagnostic tools including multimeters, ohmmeters, and other HVAC testing equipment
- Follow company procedures, safety standards, and best practices
- Operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly
- Work independently while staying connected to the service team
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, comfort, safety, and reliability
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a technician who combines technical skill with strong customer service. The right person is dependable, professional, motivated, and able to work with limited supervision.
Ideal Qualifications:
- 5+ years of HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong residential HVAC diagnostic and repair skills
- Experience with heating, cooling, airflow, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues
- EPA certification preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Comfortable using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and ohmmeters
- Strong communication skills with homeowners and team members
- Ability to present repair and replacement options professionally
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- ServiceTitan experience is a plus
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a customer-first mindset
We are primarily looking for senior-level technicians, but we will also consider strong mid-level technicians who have excellent customer service skills, strong potential, and a desire to grow.
