About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Installation Technician to join our growing team. You will help with the installation, piping, and commissioning of refrigeration systems across retail, supermarket, and industrial sites. This role requires strong technical expertise, independence, and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.

What You Will Do

Install Systems: Walk in coolers, freezers, refrigerated cases and supermarket rack systems.

Run Piping: Layout, connect, and braze copper refrigerant lines cleanly and efficiently.

Read Blueprints: Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and construction layouts.

Commission Equipment: Evacuate systems, charge refrigerant, and set initial controls and parameters.

Ensure Quality: Test for leaks, verify electrical connections, and troubleshoot startup issues.

Maintain Safety: Follow OSHA guidelines, state codes, and safe refrigerant handling procedures.

What We Are Looking For

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of dedicated commercial refrigeration installation experience.

Licensing: Valid Connecticut D-2 or S-2 license required.

Certification: EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is mandatory.

Skills: Expert brazing skills, strong electrical troubleshooting, and familiarity with EMS/controls.

Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
