Seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role focuses on planning, budgeting, coordination, and communication to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes ownership of their projects, and helps implement systems that support company growth.
Location: Within an hour radius of Austin / Round Rock, TX
Industry: Residential & Small Commercial Construction
Salary Range: $80,000- $90,000
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from pre-construction through final completion
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal field teams
- Handle contracts, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation
- Track job costs and monitor financial performance per project
- Communicate regularly with clients, ownership, and field leadership
- Ensure projects comply with safety standards, codes, and quality expectations
- Help establish and improve project management processes
Qualifications
- 4–6+ years of project management experience (residential or light commercial preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and job costing
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- High level of organization, accountability, and communication
- Comfortable working directly with a hands-on owner in a growing company
