Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, inspection requirements, and visual standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience inspecting sheet metal and machined components, strong GD&T knowledge, and proficiency using precision measuring equipment.
Pay:
$22.00 – $25.00 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interpret customer drawings, specifications, inspection sheets, and visual standards
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on sheet metal and machined components
- Evaluate and process RMAs (Return Material Authorizations) for disposition
- Manage RMA documentation and maintain accurate RMA database records
- Disposition non-conforming materials within the DMR database
- Create RMA work orders for repair or remake activities
- Assist in resolving manufacturing quality concerns and support corrective actions
- Maintain accurate acceptance and rejection documentation
- Participate in corrective and preventive action programs
- Generate and maintain quality reports for Business Review Team meetings
- Use SolidWorks to support manufacturing and quality departments including:
- Interpret customer drawings, specifications, inspection sheets, and visual standards
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on sheet metal and machined components

- Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments including: Calipers, Micrometers, and Height gauges
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting sheet metal and/or machined parts
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience using precision inspection tools and measurement equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Familiarity with quality systems and non-conformance reporting
- SolidWorks experience preferred
