Position Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Residential HVAC Service Technician with strong diagnostic abilities and excellent customer communication skills. This role is ideal for technicians who understand that customer education and service recommendations are an important part of delivering a five-star experience.
You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems while presenting repair and replacement solutions in a professional, ethical, and customer-focused manner.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems efficiently and accurately
- Educate homeowners on system condition, repair options, and energy efficiency
- Build strong customer relationships through professionalism and communication
- Present repair, replacement, and upgrade recommendations confidently
- Deliver exceptional customer service on every call
- Maintain clean and accurate job documentation
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
- Represent The Chill Brothers professionally both on and off the job site
- Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and appearance standards
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience across major HVAC brands including: Lennox, Goodman, Carrier, and Trane
- Comfortable discussing pricing, financing, and replacement opportunities with homeowners
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- EPA Certification required
- TDLR Registration required
- NATE Certification preferred
- Team-oriented attitude with a desire to grow professionally and financially
- Personal hand tools preferred (specialty equipment provided)
