JB Services is currently seeking an experienced New Construction Plumber / Commercial HVAC Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated professional with strong field knowledge, the ability to work independently, and experience handling large-scale new construction, remodel, plumbing, and commercial HVAC projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in new construction and heavy remodel plumbing mandatory
- Commercial HVAC installation and service experience required
- Experience with commercial AC systems, ductwork, package units, split systems, rooftop units (RTU’s), and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical/plumbing plans
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, layouts, rough-ins, top-outs, trim work, and installation
- Ability to properly order materials and manage job needs
- Excellent communication skills with team members, office staff, inspectors, and general contractors
- Clean background and driving record
- Valid driver’s license required
Responsibilities:
- Perform plumbing rough-in, top-out, and trim work for new construction projects
- Execute plumbing and HVAC layouts based on plans and specifications
- Install, service, diagnose, and troubleshoot commercial HVAC equipment
- Coordinate with project managers and general contractors on-site
- Maintain job efficiency, cleanliness, and professionalism
- Communicate job progress, material needs, and field issues with the office
