Industrial Electrician

Wear-Tek is a Steel Foundry and Machine Facility Located in Spokane, WA. We are currently seeking a full time Industrial Electrician to become a long-term member of our team. We have an excellent team of knowledgeable and dedicated people pulling towards the common goal of being profitable.

General Summary:

This position will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and will be responsible for performing journey-level work in the safe and efficient design, installation, construction, modification, repair and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

Must be available for any shift and overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits:

$28.00 - $38.00 per hour.
Monthly profit sharing bonuses after 90 days.

Responsibilities:

Installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery and equipment.
Inspecting electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair.
Diagnosing system and component malfunctions and correcting the cause of the breakdown.
Ensuring equipment is in good working condition - Maintaining accurate records

Job Requirements:

This position will be able to perform inspections, repairs and rebuilds of plant equipment.
Two Years' experience with 3 phase power REQUIRED.
Two (2) years’ experience in electrical and overall experience in maintaining industrial equipment REQUIRED.
Willing to climb ladders, walk up and down steps and work at heights.
Must have attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and positive team attitude.
Ability to read/write simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.

Preferred Qualifications:

Foundry experience a plus.
Electrical troubleshooting experience.
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience.
High school diploma or GED.
