Key Responsibilities
- Plumbing Installation & Repair: Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, faucets, and appliances.
- Gas Heating Systems: Service and maintain gas heating systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose plumbing and heating issues with accuracy and provide timely, effective solutions.
- Pipework & Fittings: Perform pipe threading, bending, soldering, and cutting as needed for system installation and maintenance.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend system life.
- Customer Service: Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners, explaining issues and presenting repair solutions.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work meets local plumbing/gas codes and safety standards while maintaining a clean, safe work area.
Qualifications
- MA Journeyman Plumber License (Required)
- Minimum 5 years of residential plumbing and gas heating experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities as well as excellent customer service skills
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Commitment to professionalism, safety, and quality workmanship
