We are a growing HVAC company looking for a skilled and dependable HVAC Service Technician with oil heat experience preferred to join our team. If you take pride in your work, value professionalism and enjoy solving problems in the field, we’d like to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing HVAC service, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Servicing and maintaining oil burners, including annual cleanings
- Diagnosing and repairing mini-split heat pumps
- Working on boilers—high-efficiency, combination and standard systems
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in the field
- Communicating clearly with customers and providing honest recommendations
- Completing service paperwork accurately and in an organized manner
- Representing the company in a clean, professional and respectful way
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years of HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong background in oil heat and boiler systems preferred
- Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player
- Professional communication skills—both verbal and written
- Honest, reliable and committed to high standards of workmanship
- Comfortable using technology for dispatching and paperwork
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work from ladders
- Plumbing experience would be great but not required.
Required Credentials
- OSHA 10-Hour Card (minimum)
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- EPA Universal Certification
- Basic hand tools
