Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team For a Solar Project in Chesapeake, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in various settings, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.

Duties

Repair/replace Load Break Disconnect boxes.
Replace PV connector if broken/damaged.
Wire routing and terminations within substation.
Report and document deficiencies found and repaired.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Perform both low voltage and high voltage electrical work
Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of wiring
Utilize hand tools to assemble, install, and test electrical fixtures
Collaborate with other team members on projects

Requirements:

Must have Valid Virginia accessible License for Journeyman Electrician
Solar experience required. Prefer someone with construction, commercial, industrial electrical experience. Not residential. Job will be outdoors
Must be reliable and can show up on time everyday.
You must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from work daily and on time !
Must have steel toe boots
Hours are typically Mon-Fri 7am-5:30pm, maybe Saturday as well. 40+ hours per week.
Anything over 40 hours will be overtime pay. (hours may fluctuate)
Pay starts at $42.06/ hr
