Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, with the ability to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to work with various tools and equipment. The HVAC Installer will ensure that all installations meet industry standards and customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine system layout.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during installations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns regarding their HVAC systems.
- Perform equipment repairs as needed, including welding tasks for system modifications.
Skills
- Proficient in ammonia refrigeration systems and their installation/maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a mechanic or service technician.
- Ability to build and design HVAC systems based on project requirements.
- Familiarity with reading schematics for effective system installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Experience in equipment repair with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
