Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across various property types. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment, enhance energy efficiency, and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients and tenants alike. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems.
- Installing mini splits, installing unit and tube heaters, doing furnace changeouts and occasional new build residential and light commercial projects
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites for appliance repair, system upgrades, or emergency repairs.
- Operate a vehicle safely when transporting equipment or parts between job sites.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC design modifications or system upgrades.We're seeking a motivated, growth-minded individual with at least 2 years of HVAC experience who wants to be part of a company that's building something bigger.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R or related mechanical fields.
- Strong knowledge of construction principles relevant to HVAC system installation and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with hvac systems, refrigeration and appliance repair.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in equipment repair, soldering and property maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read some electrical diagrams and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Field service experience working directly at customer or client sites is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL or specialized refrigerant handling certifications are a plus.
