Overview:
An AS9100 certified Aerospace Manufacturing Company specializing in the fabrication of metal bonded and sheet metal assemblies is seeking a full time Quality Manager. The Quality Manager manages the function of quality assurance, or quality control department, including verification of product quality, development/maintenance of quality procedures and work instructions, and corrective action programs. Engages employees in continuous improvement and fosters teamwork and a positive work environment while developing a culture of ownership and accountability.
Responsibilities:

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Strong computer skills including knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential

Ability to determine schedules, sequences and assignments for work activities based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel

Must be able to put new systems and procedures in place while instilling accountability and ownership in a rapidly changing environment

Must be able to drive Continuous Improvement projects through the practice of Root Cause Analysis, 5S, Statistical Process Control, etc

Enforce safety policies/practices to employees to foster a safe work environment through safe work practices

ERP/MRP experience REQUIRED

Previous Microsoft AX experience preferred

Maintain Quality Management System to AS9100
-
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance to all customer specifications
-
Responsible for compliance of 3rd party audits including but not limit to NADCAP CP and Composites

Direct the day to day production requirements in final inspection and receiving

Schedule and prepare part qualification activities including plans and final reporting

Must be able to read and interoperate Aerospace drawings and parts list

Identify and drive quality initiatives to reduce scrap and enhance productivity

Promote quality culture and behavior through leadership, communication, and training programs

Investigates and responds to supplier and customer inquiries or complaints

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience:

Three to five years as a Quality Manager
