Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments, ensuring adherence to electrical safety procedures and building codes.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while following NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults or system inefficiencies.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for wiring, conduit bending, framing carpentry related to electrical enclosures, and other installation tasks.
- Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to guide installation projects while complying with electrical building codes.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within project timelines.
- Follow strict safety protocols during all phases of electrical work to prevent accidents or injuries on-site.
Skills
- Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong understanding of high-voltage systems and industrial motor maintenance.
- Commercial electrician experience with knowledge of commercial electrical systems installation and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for precise project execution.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical building codes to ensure compliance.
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics using voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, schematics reading tools, and other testing instruments.
- Ability to perform high-voltage wiring safely while adhering to all safety procedures related to electrical work.
- Experience working on construction sites with construction experience in framing carpentry related to electrical enclosures or conduit routing.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor control equipment, low voltage systems, and industrial control panels.
- Proficient in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire strippers, pliers; power tools including drills; power saws; as well as specialized testing devices like ammeters or multimeters.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Ability to read technical manuals and interpret complex schematics accurately under tight deadlines.

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
