Duties
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, and heavy timber work using hand tools and power tools to create durable structures.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans.
- Install fixtures, doors, siding, cabinetry, flooring, tile, and other building components with precision.
- Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, and roofing tasks to support various project phases.
- Engage in water damage restoration, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and drywall finishing.
- Fabricate components through metal stud framing, woodworking, CNC machining, and assembly processes.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC systems, and other specialized trades as needed on construction sites or restoration projects.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols during heavy lifting or working at heights.
- Read technical documents such as schematics or schematics for fixture installation or electrical systems.
- Support remodeling efforts by performing demolition, surface preparation, painting, caulking, and siding installation.
- Contribute to the restoration industry by executing projects involving water damage repair or historic building preservation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, or related fields within the construction or restoration industry is REQUIRED.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for various construction disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery or fabrication equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with concrete forming techniques, masonry work, rebar installation and roofing practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding tasks on construction sites.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, tile laying techniques and flooring installation methods.
- Prior experience working on water damage restoration projects or mold remediation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship in remodeling or renovation projects.
- VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
