Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality structures, ductwork, piping systems, and custom fabrications that meet strict industry standards. Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of metal components
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding techniques to join various metals including sheet metal and pipe materials
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
- Measure materials precisely with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure tight tolerances in fabrication
- Conduct rigging and crane operations safely during material handling and assembly processes
- Fabricate ductwork, piping systems, and structural components adhering to ASME codes & standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication and welding projects
- Extensive hands-on experience with MIG welding techniques
- Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
- Knowledge of rigging procedures, crane operation safety practices, and pipe threading techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes and schematic interpretation
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
