Job Description:

Position Overview: As a Journeyman Electrician at Pace Electric in Orlando, Florida, you will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. With your expertise, you will ensure that projects are executed efficiently and in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Installation and Repairs:

Perform electrical installations, maintenance tasks, and repairs with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
Ensure that electrical work is in compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
Collaborate with project teams to meet project requirements and timelines.

Technical Proficiency:

Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and accurate identification of electrical issues.
Execute installations of electrical components, circuits, panels, and fixtures.
Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Safety and Compliance:

Strictly adhere to safety guidelines, protocols, and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Keep abreast of changes in electrical codes and regulations.
Promote a culture of safety within the team.

Quality Assurance:

Implement quality control checks to ensure the highest workmanship standards.
Verify that electrical systems and equipment are correctly installed and aligned with codes.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with other electricians and apprentices to achieve project goals.
Share knowledge and experience to foster growth within the team.

Client Interaction:

Qualifications:

Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification.
Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician or in a related role.
Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
Strong commitment to safety and compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour
