Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and safety standards, with experience in industrial and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low and high voltage systems, blueprint reading, and the use of various hand and power tools. This position offers opportunities to work on diverse projects including renovation and construction.
Responsibilities
· Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and systems in industrial and commercial facilities
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance
· Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues
· Ensure all work complies with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety regulations
· Perform routine inspections on electrical systems
· Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference
· Adhere to all safety protocols on construction sites or industrial environments
Skills
· Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings
· Strong knowledge of NEC codes, schematics, and blueprint reading
· Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills and saws
· Ability to use testing equipment like ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues
· Construction site experience with renovation or new construction projects
· Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in complex electrical systems
· Strong understanding of safety standards related to high voltage and low voltage electrical work
· Candidate MUST have reliable transportation and may be required to move from one site to another during the workday.
