Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Installer Electrician to join our dynamic renewable energy team. Duties
- Install solar panels, inverters, wiring, and electrical components following blueprints and schematics.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate system setup.
- Connect high voltage and low voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Perform fixture installation, conduit bending, grounding, and wiring on various roofing and ground-mounted systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, and forklifts safely to complete installations efficiently.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to verify proper operation of solar PV systems.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate site activities while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician with strong electrical background including high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Knowledge of NEC standards related to solar PV installations and electrical safety practices.
- Hands-on experience with fixture installation, wiring techniques, and electrical troubleshooting on construction sites.
- Familiarity with roofing work, plumbing integration (if applicable), and working at heights on rooftops.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, construction equipment such as forklifts, and safety gear.
- Valid electrician license or certification preferred; construction site experience is essential.
