Job Summary
We are looking for someone with an electrician background to install commercial fire safety equipment. No experience is necessary other than basic electrical, install conduit, run wire, install panels. Growth, learning and increased opportunity are available.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, fire safety systems across various construction sites and facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler fittings, and alarm systems are functioning flawlessly to safeguard lives and property. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler fittings, and alarm systems in compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Conduct thorough construction inspections to verify proper installation of fire safety equipment and ensure adherence to design specifications
- Design effective fire safety systems tailored to specific building requirements, incorporating the latest security technology
- Perform regular system testing and inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate, ensuring continuous operational readiness
- Collaborate with construction teams and clients to provide expert guidance on fire safety system design and integration
- Assist in sales activities related to fire alarm systems and alarm system upgrades by demonstrating product features and benefits
- Keep detailed records of inspections, maintenance activities, system upgrades, and compliance documentation
Experience
- Proven experience working as an electrician with a focus on fire safety systems such as fire alarms, sprinklers, or security systems
- Knowledge of system design principles for fire detection and suppression solutions
- Hands-on experience with construction inspection processes related to fire safety installations
- Familiarity with security protocols associated with alarm systems and their integration into building infrastructure
- Certification or training in fire sprinkler fitting, fire alarm installation, or related fields is nice to have
- Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing fire safety equipment installation and maintenance
