We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse fabrication projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly, contributing to the successful completion of construction and manufacturing initiatives. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding with precision to meet project specifications
- Fabricate components from sheet metal, ductwork, and pipe using plasma cutting, press brake machines, and hand tools
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure accurate dimensions and quality control
- Operate power tools, rigging equipment, forklifts, and machining tools safely and efficiently on construction sites or manufacturing floors
- Assemble fabricated parts according to schematics and engineering standards while adhering to ASME codes & standards
- Conduct pipe threading, soldering, mechanical fitting, and assembly tasks as required for project completion
Skills
- Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety protocols
- Expertise in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques; proficiency in welding if applicable
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
- Mechanical knowledge including rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly processes
- Familiarity with ductwork installation and sheet metal fabrication for various construction projects
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment preferred
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to welding and fabrication projects

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
