Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your mechanical expertise and field service experience will drive your success as you ensure optimal indoor climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems boilers,
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites for appliance repair, property maintenance, and system upgrades.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs when necessary.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using comprehensive mechanical knowledge; repair or replace faulty components efficiently.
- Maintain detailed service reports, logs of repairs performed, and inventory records for parts used.
- Adhere to safety protocols including proper handling of refrigerants like ammonia and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Assist in plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems where required; support other maintenance activities as part of property upkeep.
- Operate vehicles such as drivers' license-equipped vehicles safely while traveling between job sites.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or mechanic with a strong background in construction or property maintenance environments.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems including , air conditioning units, boilers, and ventilation systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC design projects.
- Familiarity with plumbing components associated with HVAC installations or repairs.
- Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; capable of performing equipment repair tasks involving electrical systems.
- Skilled in welding techniques
- Previous field service experience working directly with clients in residential or commercial settings.
- Mechanical aptitude complemented by experience in appliance repair and general maintenance tasks.

Pay: $25.51 - $40.72 per hour
