Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing techniques and be proficient in operating heavy equipment. This role involves working on various construction projects, ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards. The Concrete Finisher will collaborate with other team members to deliver quality work on time and within specifications.

Duties

Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring, including the installation of forms and reinforcement materials.
Operate heavy equipment, such as concrete mixers and other machinery, safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of designs.
Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, or heavy machinery to achieve desired texture and appearance.
Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required during the concrete pouring and finishing processes.
Assist in estimating material needs for projects and contribute to renovation tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that arise during the finishing process.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents effectively.
Experience with stucco application is a plus.
Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working long hours on feet.
Familiarity with construction estimating practices is advantageous.
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to various project requirements.
A commitment to safety standards and practices on job sites.
