Assistant Project Manager – Commercial Glass & Glazing

About Us

Grizzly Glass & Door is a growing commercial glass and glazing contractor specializing in storefronts, curtainwall systems, entrances, interior glass, and specialty glazing projects. We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to help support our project management team and contribute to the continued growth of our company.

Position Summary

The Assistant Project Manager will work directly with Project Managers to help coordinate commercial glazing projects from award through closeout. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and looking to build a long-term career in construction project management.

Responsibilities

Assist with project startup, scheduling, and coordination
Review project plans, specifications, and submittals
Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules
Communicate with general contractors, vendors, and field personnel
Attend project meetings as required
Assist with job costing and budget tracking
Help maintain project schedules and deadlines
Support project closeout documentation and warranty processes
Perform other project-related administrative and management duties

Qualifications

Construction industry experience preferred
Commercial glazing, storefront, curtainwall, or specialty subcontractor experience is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications preferred
Experience with project management software is a plus
Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to learn

Pay: $49,494.85 - $59,606.70 per year
