Duties

Support licensed electricians by preparing tools, materials, and work areas for electrical installations or repairs
Assist with pulling wire, conduit bending, and installing electrical components according to schematics and blueprints
Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, strip, and connect electrical wiring and devices
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to aid in installation tasks
Help with the setup of low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
Conduct basic troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters to identify electrical issues under supervision
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

Prior experience working with industrial or commercial electrical systems is highly preferred
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices
Basic understanding of low voltage (such as alarm or communication systems) and high voltage electrical systems
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
Experience with NEC standards and electrical codes is a plus
Knowledge of using an ohmmeter for testing electrical continuity and resistance
Construction site experience demonstrating reliability in physically demanding environments
Strong willingness to learn from experienced electricians and develop technical skills in electrical work
