Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager in the demolition and environmental remediation space to oversee multiple projects from planning through closeout. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role requiring strong operational oversight, client interaction, and the ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects.

Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:

Manage demolition and environmental remediation projects (asbestos, lead, hazardous materials, contaminated soils) from start to completion
Coordinate and oversee select, full, and industrial demolition activities
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timelines and milestones are met
Serve as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications
Manage subcontractors, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with project scope
Handle change orders, including documentation, pricing, and client communication
Utilize systems such as Excel, Clearstory, and BuildingConnected for project tracking and documentation
Ensure all project documentation, reporting, and closeout paperwork are completed accurately
Interact with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with varying timelines and requirements
Maintain consistent communication via email and other channels

Qualifications:

3–5 years of management or supervisory experience in demolition or environmental remediation
Direct experience with asbestos removal, lead abatement, hazardous waste disposal, or contaminated soil excavation
Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, including change orders
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
Proficiency with Excel and construction/project management software (Clearstory, BuildingConnected preferred)
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Pay: $31.00 - $48.00 per hour

Experience:

Demolition: 3 years (Required)
Blueprint reading: 3 years (Required)
