Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across various properties. Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation systems.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues.
Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe repairs and system connections.
Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and calibration.
Repair or replace mechanical components using welding techniques or equipment repair skills.
Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with clients regarding system status and recommended solutions.
Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems and appliance repairs.
Operate company vehicles safely in compliance with all transportation regulations.
Support the installation of ammonia refrigeration systems and other specialized equipment as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical systems.
Strong construction background with knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, and plumbing.
Familiarity with HVAC/R standards, including ammonia refrigeration systems.
Mechanical knowledge encompassing boiler operation, equipment repair, welding, and general maintenance.
Experience working in field service environments with a focus on property maintenance.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driver certification preferred.
Ability to read technical schematics and perform complex troubleshooting tasks.
